Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) is a socio-spiritual Hindu faith with its roots in the Vedas. As a global Hindu organization, BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha was established in 1974 by His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj, and has expanded its North American presence to over 100 mandirs throughout the United States and Canada.
In 2024, we are thrilled they’re celebrating the 50th anniversary of the opening of the first BAPS Mandir in North America in Flushing, New York.
Each day visitors and devotees come to mandir to offer prayers before the murtis, or sacred images, as well as to attend cultural classes and religious services known as sabhas. The administration recognized that renovating the current restrooms was necessary because the toilets were outdated and hard to maintain. They required hardwearing and durable washroom solutions to withstand the demand of high football heavy every day.
As the founder Pramukh Swami Maharaj said, “In the joy of others lies our own.” We’re delighted to help finding out the ideal solutions, and delivered the goods to Mandir on time.
With a 150mm gap from floor, the Headrail Braced HPL toilet cubicles were specified for the washrooms. Our Plywood Lockers were specified for BAPS campus, the eco-friendly lockers are Class E0 formaldehyde emissions with superior quality and strength, and come readily constructed for quick, easy installation.
